RecommendedIt’s going my second week at MTI and it’s so much fun already! Everyone is nice, and works with you, makes you feel so welcomed it also feels like family. I definitely recommend it!
Justin rivers and Norris are both really good instructors and help us when we are stuck, but the lady instructor is a different story she feels that she is our principal and we can’t do anything without her being in the business.
Justin Rivers and Justin Norris make a great team. They're both very knowledgeable and eager to share that knowledge with us. I feel like they thrive on the success of their pupils and i know that I'll continue to grow as a welder as long as they're instructing me. 10/10 would recommend these 2 instructors to anybody💯
I absolutely love Justin Norris and Justin Rivers, they are the two best instructors you could ever ask for. They help anyone and everyone whenever asked almost immediately and give you great advice. The new lady however, would better fit in a High School English class as a teacher. Nothing against her, she’s just not the best fit for a welding instructor.
Justin Norris is an excellent welding instructor. He always goes the extra mile to make sure all of us are becoming well educated welders. He also has a very good personality and is always there to help. I heard rumors recently that he was leaving here and this saddens me, I know while he is here I will get the help I need.
The staff is truly amazing! very friendly, fun, but also safe and serious! Very excited to start their cosmo program, as well as a new start to amazing journey! They are taking careful safety precautions during the time of this horrible pandemic!
if you want to be an essential employee that will always be needed come here youll be happy you did. great school, fantastic instructors, pretty good facility equipment was good and they've upgraded since i was there. overall a good place to learn. was in the ptd program until February went straight into work a week after passing my cdl.
The welding program is terrible. No structure. They can't keep full time Instructors. Witch is hard as a student never being able to find an instructor when you have questions . The lead instructor is awsome just hard to run a program with no help. I would definitely do some investigating before committing to MTI. They DO NOT help with job placement in the welding dept. like they say they do one of my biggest issues with MTI.
I couldn’t of picked a better place to start my career ♥️ the teachers where amazing! The staff was amazing! You walk in the doors and it feels like home. You don’t just go to school, you gain friendship and family for life.😇
