Exceptional and caring! I was referred to Dr. Chang by a member of my care team at Penny George Institute for Integrative Medicine. My experience was amazing, first with the surgical assistant, then with Dr. Chang. Both were very thorough and I felt like they took time to explain the anatomy, my images, and educating me on options. They take a conservative approach, unlike many surgeons these days, which is much appreciated!

AMAZING AMAZING Hi so I am writing this review to help everyone else out there!! I had many issues with my cervical spine and we all know the run around many surgeons may give you. I saw 2 previous surgeons for treatment and one wanted to perform a fusion for my cervical spine. I had a herniated disc at C5 and treatments to avoid surgery included PT / trigger point injections / steroid injections / nerve burning which all led to surgery. I was so looking forward to going to this clinic. I have been to a handful of doctors now to try to help me resolve and relieve some of my mysterious back pain I’ve had for a year. The pain is debilitating at times and has changed my quality of life. The scan of my neck was normal and the doctor spent only a couple of short minutes with me, gave me a PT referral and left. I now have to pay for that visit and try to find yet another doctor who might listen to me when I say something is wrong and I need help.

I had horrible back pain for years. I have previously been fused L4-S1.was doing fine for a little while until the pain returned. I was having significant low back pain. My previous surgeon recommended hardware removal. Did that, no luck. Then I had went to another provider who suggested weekly trigger shot injections, stated I wasn’t a candidate for surgery. I did however start PT.. not the shots and found Dr. Jackman. He saved me! He said my SI joints were the problem and took the time to explain why and what he could do f... read more
