Everyday as the sun tickles my rooftop it is met by the warm embrace of my solar panels bringing light to my household. Since installation with midwest solar a year ago i have had no issues. I have had predictable performance. No software or hardware issues. They were very upfront and honest about pricing, sourcing of panels, pros and cons of different panels and about appropriate sizing. We had a great experience with Midwest Solar for our 5kW rooftop install on a late 1950s - early 1960s era house. Midwest provided the most thorough site estimate of any of the 4 installers we received bids from. Our roof is framed with rafters (i.e. not trusses), and during the site visit Midwest identified the simple structural reinforcements necessary and included the cost of those reinforcements with the quote. We had a large and complicated project and every step along the way the Midwest Solar team was excellent. The sales process was more consultative partner than sales. Pre-planning for construction was focused on best possible solution, not fastest or cheapest. Coordination with utility was exceptional…they handled everything. Installation crew was clean, friendly, quality work and great communication. System went operational today and everything performing as expected. Couldn’t recommend this company and team more highly.
