I was referred here and was hopeful I would get some help with my eye problem. My first appointment with Dr.Patel I found him to be dismissive and unsympathetic about my problem. He told me I would have to learn to live with it. I had a follow up appointment where I was not seen until one hour and 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I have been a patient at Midwest Retina for about five years and with my current doctor, Dr. Kim for about four years. I see him roughly once every three months and I trust him whole heartedly with my vision. He has provided reassurance during difficult times and has given me the best treatment for my disease.

I drove an elderly family member to Midwest Retina on Sept. 17, and found the office to not be patient friendly. After a 10 minute session for drops at appointment time, we were sat in another waiting room for 1 hr. 20 minutes. We were then called into another office and waited another 20 minutes for the physician to appear. He spent exactly 3 minutes with the patient and acted like he really didn't know why we were there. We won't be returning.
