I had a lovely experience at Midwest Retina Specialists. I saw my optometrist and she found something on my exam that she felt warranted immediate evaluation. They worked me in that very day, were efficient, and reassuring. Ophthalmologists see a shocking number of patients per day, so I wasn't surprised to see such a full waiting room. Unprofessional, rude, overbooked. The facility is dirty. Looks like it is rarely cleaned. The doctor's nurse who goes into rooms is rude. I took my father in for the first visit. We had a plan of action and by the third visit they changed the plan, found new info, and the inky reason we found out was because inhad to ask why the plan for treatment changed. We will not be returning.
Only giving a 1 star because thats the lowest option. Took my grandmother to her appointment today, to see a lobby slam full of patients, I understand wait times more than anyone, but for the doc to only be in the room 2 minutes tops?!? Very displeased!. My Grandmother had concerns that were stated to the nurse at the start of her visit, doc came in, read the chart, mumbles to himself through her list of concerns questions & totally disregarded every last one!!! Only words spoke to her was to change her med dosage & to cone ... read more
I have had 5 appointments and everytime they have called the day of my appointment to reschedule to a different time. The doctor has a personality of a brick and always seems to be in a hurry. The nurses are nice, except for the two who did my injections ( one was rude, the other snickered when I said it hurt as they injected my eye.) I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
