Seen Dr. Bodner and he was very helpful with my knee pain. I'm a short chubby active equestrian and I needed pain relief that another Dr. I seen did nothing for me. Very thankful for his treatment to help be be able to move and ride comfortably.
Explained everything in detail with my knee surgery, did a great job no issues 5 years later. Bedside manner can be gruff but I didn’t mind
Dr. Bodner doesn't believe in pain meds and told me to use ibuprofen for my severe knee pain, which ended up with me in the hospital and Drs. taking me off the ibuprophen completely. He also told me he wouldn't do surgery on my knees because I had a "sedentary lifestyle" (I'm retired) and couldn't do a rehab properly and I was going to "end up in a wheelchair anyway".
He is extremely unprofessional. Doesn't allow a radiologist to read xrays for a non partisan opinion. Did not show or explain xrays. Upon following his "treatment plan" PT was not able to understand my hip condition as his report was undetailed and mis written as well as no xrays released. Upon contacting his office to ask about his notes lacking , the "practice manager" contacted me and then yelled at me for not understanding how medical practices work. Dr Bodner is intelligent..but lacks empathy. Definately was disrespectful..and didn't care if I was in pain. I have a cream he prescribed. Not everyone abuses opiods..all patients have 'a right to pain relief" I will go to my follow up appt..and see if he was just in a bad mood ..maybe he will be nice next time.
