I was misdiagnosed by Dr Liu, as having chronic kidney disease. She used an old urinalysis, and was unwilling to do the correct tests to confirm. When I asked about more tests and alternatives to the drugs she was pushing on me, Dr. Liu said "I'm a medical Dr. I give medicine." Luckily I was able to find a practitioner who was willing to talk about my condition and do the proper testing. The practice did not notify my husband when his nephrologist retired. His file was handed to another doctor who never contacted him, and who my husband never met. On his last visit he met a nurse practitioner who told him to keep a positive attitude and follow a healthy kidney diet. It was clear that she had only skimmed his chart and didn't even know what his disease was. When his lab results came in with the worst results yet, no doctor called. I have been going to Midwest Nephrology since I was a teenager. Little over 20 yrs. I have always felt they cared about me. Dr. Glaser is a awesome doctor. Would recommend him and the other doctors.
