I paid $1,500 for the Silver membership with Midwest Matchmaking and it was one of the biggest wastes of money I’ve ever experienced. Over the course of my membership I received roughly 17 introductions. Only a handful of those women appeared to have professional photos or a serious paid profile. A large percentage of the matches had only one photo (or poorly cropped personal photos). After spending that kind of money, I expected higher-quality introductions, not a stream of low-effort profiles. To be clear — this is not a c... read more

I genuinely despise zoom calls. That's the only way you can connect with this company. I already am disillusioned by dating, but I work very hard and don't have time for anything but phone calls or texts. I missed my initial appointment and am not sad about it.

Everything was transparent and clear. The dates I was set up with ranked from bad to ok, but nothing where I really thought there was a connection. It was a roll of the dice. I don't hate the experience. Compared to dating apps, it was worth the money to try. I was paired with w... read more

I need to be honest about my time with Midwest Matchmaking and its owner Courtney Quinlan. It was a waste of money that left me feeling tricked and let down. I signed up full of hope, based on promises of lots of good matches. But those promises didn't hold up, the service was nothing like what they advertised. Their list of people is very small so they end up looking for dates on Facebook. That's not the fancy matchmaking they claim to do. I paid a lot for this, and it felt like they were just browsing social media for me. ... read more
