Midwest Jewelry Exchange is the only place in the Indianapolis area that I recommend for jewelry exchange. They are courteous, fair, and take the time to explain why something would be a good exchange and something else may not.
Take the time to get to know them. And let them know you. You are there to buy or sell. They are there to do the opposite if minds meet. Understanding their goals and letting them know yours will give the best result. One time transactions are tricky. The Staff was very Friendly and Professional
I brought in an 18 karat gold ring. It weighed 10.1 g. They offered me $500 which is less than half of scrap market value. The pawn shop offered me $800. This place is a con artist rip-off scammer. Do not sell your stuff here. Not to mention that the mounting was tacori.
I took my bracelet in for a simple repair, and the result was terrible. The ring is not properly closed, it’s bent and misaligned, and looks like rushed, careless work. This is not professional jewelry repair — it looks like “Mickey Mouse” work. I would not trust this place for repairs or any custom work.
