Dr. Zach Haddox is a great psychiatrist. He listens to patient’s concerns and experiences and provides excellent psychoeducation. He doesn’t throw medications at you without making sure you fully agree and understand the treatment plan, unlike other doctors. I’m giving 4 stars because I’ve been on the waitlist for a therapist for a long time now and was told I am “next on the list” a couple weeks ago but still haven’t heard anything.

I recently moved back to Ohio and went to Midwest counseling center for medication therapy. I saw Zach Haddox. I’ve been taking a very low dose stimulant for years and during our initial visit he prescribed me that stimulant. The next visit however he took me off the stimulant and tried another medication because he wanted to treat a different condition. This was catastrophic to my mental health. The counselors are all friendly, caring and compassionate about the services they provide. The facilities have gone through a major upgrade, and made to feel more like a home setting. Very relaxed and comfortable.
