I have had stomach issues since 1998. Nothing worked until I found Midwest Center for Digestive Health. They are THE BEST. Most of the bad reviews are about front desk staff and appointments. Thank the government for the appointment issues. Anywhere you go for medical treatment you will have exorbitant wait times. We all know why. The system is overwhelmed!! I called to schedule an appointment and I’ve had Dr. Patel as my gastroenterologist for years. My daughter has also had appointments with Dr. Patel. If, I have to wait 7-10 days to get an appointment for a colonoscopy, the rating is way too low for the amount of patients scheduling appointments. Btw, the person answering the phone is not a scheduler so she doesn’t need your symptoms. She transferred me to a scheduler where I left my message for an appointment

I have tried to call for almost a week and the young receptionist always happened to answer my call. She was very rude. She told me that they were booked until September and I need my referral faxed to them. I had my primary doctor’s office faxed the order and I called them back. The young receptionist unfortunately answered my call again and said “ we don’t have the referral I just checked. Bye” And hung up on me. So I had the primary care re-faxed it again.
