Delicious and the best chicago style food in Austin
This place is highly overrated and overpriced. The hotdogs are mediocre at best. I paid $20 for 2 hotdogs, that was it. You’re better off going off to Circle K or QT for some hotdogs.
First authentic Italian Beef I've found in Austin. Just be careful if you get the giardiniera. It is spicy! I loved it but I know some people can't handle spice. Definitely 10 out of 10.
The owner was so nice and the italian beef was amazing. The Chicago dog tasted just like home. Thanks for bringing the windy city to Texas
Went back to Midway Dogs and got another authentic Chicago-style hot dog — steamed bun, all the local ingredients, done exactly right. If you’re from Chicago and missing hometown food, this is the place. I also got to meet the owner, who was warm, easy to talk to, and clearly puts real care into her business. Great food and genuine hospitality — highly recommend.
