I have been coming to Midway for years to get both of vehicles inspected even when the owner was inspecting vehicles and always had a good experience, my inspections was fast and fair but not so much this last time prompting me to consider a different place next time, which is sad because I respect and think the owner is a great person. Overall it is good establishment to have your vehicle serviced at and the main inspector seems fair I feel with 2 inspectors on my vehicle and the forceful shaking of my tire by the assistant... read more
Took my mom's 2006 Jeep Commander to Midway Auto Repair for a power steering leak on 2/2/26 and they charged $150.00 for the diagnostic/inspection. They diagnosed that the rack and pinion assembly needed to removed and replaced but failed to diagnose that the power steering pump also needed to be replaced until after the repair which including labor and parts cost a total of 1,872.30. This cost also included a wheel Alignment and power steering pressure line hose assembly. After Midway Auto Repair completed the repair I was ... read more
Just had my husband's 2012 Dodge Challenger serviced there for less than optimal engine temps. Turns out it was a sealing issue and they replaced the thermostat for free, but we had other issues repaired with them before (radiator issues, alignment etc.) These guys know what they're doing and they always aim to do right. Great customer service and turn around time. Also pricing is great and I doubt there's other shops that beat their price and service abilities. If you want a place that doesn't bs you, go here.
Came in for a check engine light diagnosis for a p0344 camshaft position sensor code that put my truck in limp mode. They just threw a new cam and crank position sensor at it and cleared the codes and called it a day. They didnt check oil for metal debris / damage, they didnt verify that the problem was beyond just the sensor, they said the truck was fixed and charged me $600+. 2 days later i get the same code, same issues for an engine thats bricked that i wasted an extra $600+ on for no reason.
The owner Eddie and his team have always been professional, efficient, and cost effective for any car related issues I have had.
