Great shop! One of the few in the area I'm trusting of and loyal to. They've done all of my inspections for the last few years, and a couple of touch-ups on my old Chevy Cruze, and do it at a very reasonable price. Where many shops will make up issues when you take your vehicle in for inspection, usually just to squeeze a few more bucks out of you, these guys are NOT those kinds of people. If there's a problem, they will let you know. Recently I had to purchase a new vehicle and decided upon a pre-purchase inspection. The ma... read more

Friendly, professional, and fast same-day safety inspection! I needed a state safety inspection at the end of the month and other shops were either booked for weeks or didn’t answer the phone. Midway was different—when I called, the lady told me they could fit me in if I arrived before 3:30. When I got there, I waited about 30–45 minutes with 3 cars ahead of me in a queue parked along the street, then Joshua handled my inspection in just 15 minutes. Came in to have it checked out. They were kind enough to let me know what was necessary and what could wait; however, I came in with no check engine light but left with one...I did ask and got the response, it's your sensor. If it's bad enough that it's triggering a light, maybe it couldn't wait, or maybe you guys wanted to make sure I didn't forget. Either way, after 900 plus, I think this could have been reset. Even the tire air pressure light is still on. Left with more check engine lights than came in with. So I guess I'... read more

Some shoddy work done at this shop required me to need to return back twice after the job was done. The first time I went back, they stated nothing was wrong with my car, and the second time another mechanic discovered the issue. After this experience, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and made an appointment to look at an unrelated issue, dropping my car off in the morning. My car was not examined all day. They also charge a diagnostic fee whether you get the work done or not. I will not be returning.

Adam at Midway was fantastic! Came in for an oil change and he looked my vehicle over while he had it up, found a safety issue, brought me over to show me and explain the problem. Not only did they get me in quick, Adam got my car fixed up and safe for me to be back on the road. Could not recommend them higher!
