I just wanted to share how Midtown handles security deposits. They charged $540 to clean a 3 bedroom unit. The boys kept this apartment clean so it was not like they were cleaning a destroyed unit. They took out what Katie called “change over fees”-lock code changes; light bulbs, smoke alarm batteries, air filters, fire extinguisher inspections. And then they charged for painting. RecommendedI’ve lived at Midtown since the summer following my Freshman year. The management is outstanding, personable, and always available. Katie specifically is not only a great manager but always respectful and friendly to the residents and knows everyone by name. She goes out of the way to make sure the residents are happy, doing well and have access to her PERSONAL cell phone number. (I don’t know a landlord that would do this). What is there to say about Midtown Starkville and the Management team? One word, Superlative. I have been a resident of Midtown Starkville since it’s inception in 2018. During the leasing process Katie went OVER the call of leasing agent and property manager. It wasn’t until February of 2019 that I found out that it was just Katie running the entire property. Midtown The entire staff always greet you with a smile, very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. The grounds and facilities are kept clean. The location is great! It is in walking distance from downtown, the district, and not far from the college. Everyone that lives here is super nice. Overall I would say Midtown is just a great place to call “home!”
