The front entrance is a little difficult to find. With "LifeLabs" branding almost directly over the front door, I was not sure if I was using the correct entrance. A standing sign would help quite a bit for finding the main entrance to the building. Using the elevator, the button for the third floor seemed broken and did not light up.
My experience with my initial and follow up appointment was awesome. I never felt rushed, he was incredibly thorough and took the time to review my medical history. I felt listened to, and supported. His front desk staff has always been friendly, and kind. They did not mind me calling to add updated information on family history. They went the extra mile to make sure I was reminded of an upcoming appointment. I find it shocking that anyone would say bad things about them.
Dr. Arendse Is an amazing person and doctor. Very knowledgeable and very compassionate. He has staff that handle applying for drug coverage and special coverage through the government and drug manufactures. Has always started me on samples until approved. Has advocated that I bypass harmful drugs that are usually needed prior to more expensive ones. He has also been able to get me in for scans quickly when needed and has also made referrals to Alberta for specialized testing and second opinions. Like all good doctors they ha... read more
