I would strongly advise anyone to stay far away from Midtown Nurse Midwives (Bethany Sasaki). Our experience there was awful from start to finish. The place literally smelled bad, which immediately made me question their standards of cleanliness and professionalism. On top of that, the staff did not seem knowledgeable or capable of actually helping. I could not recommend this establishment less. I came with my 7 week old in early March concerned about slow weight gain and potential oral dysfunction. During the appointment I felt my concerns with painful latch, vasospasms, low milk supply, and the slow weight gain were entirely brushed off. During the weighted feed, my son ate only a half ounce from a 20 minute feed, and the IBCLC chalked it up to him being a snacker, and that I need to take the breast away. On three separate occasions, I’ve received exceptional and compassionate service. As a first time mom I highly recommend this clinic. The staff are all amazing but I must share high praises for Bethany. She has been the most helpful and responsive provider that I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with.

I had my first child and due to me having larger breasts breast-feeding became a bit more complex. I really wanted to do this for my child and am so thankful I found Bethany and her consultants! The ladies were so hands-on and reassuring giving me the confidence I needed to continue on in my journey. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a very thorough experience.
