We finally made it to Midtown Eats and it was wonderful! We started with the brisket nachos with house-made tortilla chips. What a delicious appetizer! Lunch items were the chicken and smoked Gouda wrap with house-made potato chips (yum!) and the daily special, Shrimp and Grits. We loved all of it! Plus, our waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. I wish we lived closer so this could be our regular spot. You never know what new things they’re gonna create there to eat. This past weekend, they rolled up with around 4 smokers loaded with smoked ribs, wings, whole chickens, briskets, and pork shoulder. It was great food for a very minimal cost. However, one of the coolest things about it all was how much the chef/cook seemed to really love doing this. When someone enjoys something so much, you know you’re about to get something special.
