Not sure what happened to my post, but Tikar and Midtown Chimney Sweeps are great! We bought our pellet stove 7-years ago and have it serviced annually after having a problem after a couple of years of use without service. Tikar is great about contacting us for our annual service. Tikar goes the extra mile and makes sure everything is done properly. I have been using him for my Harmon pellet stove for many years. I am always extremely happy with the job he does. I highly recommend him. Five star service.
I found their company on the glass tabletop of Katzenjammers, and was so happy with the service by Tikar, his expertise, friendliness, and overall efficiency. He even went over snaps he had taken of the rooftop part of the chimney, told me how the materials I have help with fire safety, mortared the inside pipe to keep out potential gas leaks, and put a new screen on. He also cleaned my dryer vents. He made all of it easy to understand as he went over all of it step by step. Now that's what I call service!

Tikar was very professional and knowledgeable. He swept my chimney, sealed the outside and installed FlashSeal. Tikar also pointed out some issues that others had missed in the past.
