We drove directly from New Orleans to “Midpoint Highlands” Restaurant, stopping before we even dropped our things off at the house, and I must say, we could not have landed any better. All the doors and windows were open, allowing the cool 64° air to waft through, and Helen and Carlton made us feel like royalty keeping us supplied with splendid cocktails and wine!
