Poor handling of domain renewals Twice MidPhase killed my web sites on the last day of the domain registration, even though the option to automatically renew was ticked, and even though they had already charged the amount. The third time, they changed a 2-year registration to a 1 year, and then killed the site, and it has taken almost 3 weeks to even get a response from them. Their tech support is outsourced to a company in the Ukraine, and they are pretty good, believe it or not. It's the American staff in the Chicago billing office that are unresponsive. Go elsewhere, HostGator for example; MidPhase is more trouble than anyone needs.
