It's literally just a building. MyMichigan is nothing more than a corporate landlord that outsources nearly all its tests, procedures, and emergencies to other medical organizations and facilities. MyMichigan pushes everything that's wrong with American healthcare to the extreme.
I’ve been trying to gain access to my sons portal for almost a year now (mind you he’s just about 14 months old so that should say something) but the first time they didn’t allow for it because there was no proof that he was my child… didn’t ask for proof or anything. I requested his chart/portal yet again on August 11th and the app tells you to wait 48 hours for a response… it is now the 18th and I’ve received not a peep. Treated us like gold!!
This place doesn’t care about anyone, they care about their egos and playing hero. If you’re not having a heart attack they don’t care, you’ll be treated like you’re wasting their time and you might even get yelled at, degraded, and belittled. Don’t trust this place with your healthcare because I can guarantee the majority of the staff does not actually care about their patients.
