PHENOMENAL – My experiences with Dr.Bohannon-Grant have been phenomenal. She correctly diagnosed, and successfully treated my problem in my FIRST visit to her office; this was after a lot of wasted money spent on unsuccessful visits to a number of other Richmond area dermatologists and plastic surgeons. NOT SO GOOD - Staff is totally lacking in the customer servie department. – Dr. Bohannon is a very talented physician but her staff is terrible. If you call, be prepare to hold and then you will probably have to redial as I am disconnected almost every time I call. When you do finally get to talk to someone be prepared to deal with someone who is obviously having a bad day or are too busy to deal with the client. The best in town, and I've seen them all – I have been to a couple other dermatologists in Richmond (who will go unnamed) and found them unfriendly, brisk, and with exceptionally long waiting lists. The one I vistited prior to Midlo Derm left me with lots of unanswered questions-just another patient in a very long line. Midlothian Dermatology – I was having a problem and needed to see a dermatologist ASAP. I called my previous dermatologist and since I had not been there in almost 2 years was told I would be considered a new patient and that I would have to wait 10 months for an appointment!! Made me feel very comfortable – I was impressed when I called the office I talked to a very inviting young lady. I was very surprised to hear that I could have an appointment as early as the next day. All others that I had called told me that it would be at least a month before I could get an appointment. Dr. Bohannan was very nice and knowledgeable. I am so pleased with the treatment that she prescribed for me, it worked like a charm. Friendly staff and brief wait period – I completely disagree with the other review posted. I've been to Dr. Bohannon-Grant on several occassions--for reasons both medical and cosmetic--and have never had a long wait. The staff is always courteous and I feel very confident under Dr. Jo's hand. The pricing is a little higher than other places I checked into, but she has an excellent reputation and even teaches other doctors about different procedures. Plus her conversation makes you comfortable--she's really a hoot!

Midlothian Dermatology. – The staff came across as snooty. Pricing is not that competitive - there are other dermatologists offering the same services for a lot less in Richmond. Dr. Bohannon is very knowledgeable but as stated before if I am going to spend that kind of money I expect that I'll be treated nicely and not be subjected to someone's bad mood.
