The entire point of hospice is to provide comfort for a person abd their family nearing the end of their life. Twice in 3 months before my grandmother passed we had to scramble to get her pain meds, because hospice forgot to bring her refills! She was taking them less than expected, but even if that wasn't the case they should have have fixed the problem immediately.
