The price point seemed great. Then came the customer service and fees. They seem to nickel and dime you and give a poor response. I was charged for their insurance. My camper never left the state of Tennessee and which means never entered in the state of Georgia and this facility. Coincidentally my camper was totaled due to a weather and tree falling on it the day before I had planned to bringing to the storage facility. I provided them photos so I could cancel the lease. Excellent customer service regarding my rental unit.
Moving into Midguard from another storage facility has been seamless with the right amount of communication with the virtual manager. Met with the site manager Scott and he was fantastic!! He was very hospitable and patient in showing us a few of the storage areas where wanted to park our camper. I was very impressed that he was able to be in person and help us in our decision process. They will nickel and dime you to death. We store our RV in one of their lots. If you want to switch to a different spot, you have to go through a whole new lease process and they will charge you a prorated amount for the new spot but not refund you any of the original spot. It's fine if you do this transaction at the end of the month but it you do it closer to the beginning of the month (like we did) you get charged nearly double rent for the month JUST FOR SWITCHING SPOTS.
