I just got off the phone w/ a billing company stating that i didn't pay a bill I received from this name...they could not provide a phone number but told me to look up the name Middletown Anesthesia Group...so I did and the number says it's a hospital phone number not assigned to anyone? I have no bill and I won't be paying unless I get a bill in the mail and can confirm the services provided.
I provided my insurance card and all information prior to and on the day of my procedure, yet they submitted my claim missing a digit in my insurance ID #. When the claim denied they sent me a bill for $720 to pay out of pocket. I called to discuss and they said I did not give proper insurance info. I told them to look at the insurance id # they had on my bill & I informed them they were missing a digit. They said they would fix and resubmit the claim.
