I had my first procedure on my right leg, and I didn't have any problems. Just myself, the nurse, and the doctor in the room. Well my 2nd procedure was HORRIBLE. We start off in the room that I had my 1st procedure in. The nurse then takes me to a smaller room, where there is about 5 people in it. They tell me to get on my back and lie on the table. I been waiting about 2 months for an approval from my isurance on an ablation treatment I'm told I needed to correct the venious insufficiency in my legs. I have yet to hear an update on my situation nor do I have any clue that this situation regarding my health has even been given any priority. I would think the doctor or someone would be keeping in touch with me on that situation. 2 months is a long time for health insurance to act on approving whether or not they can pay for a medical treatment.

James and I met Dr Burkett a few weeks ago after finding out he had venous stasis disease. We were very impressed by her and her office staff . Dr Burkett explained to us what needed to be done and why . James went in today had the first procedure done on his left leg and will have other leg done soon. He is doing well thank you to all the staff you guys are wonderful.
Absolutely adore the staff and Dr. Burkett. They all listened to my concerns, answered my questions and helped me. Dr. Burkett never questioned my symptoms and saved my life. Having CVI & Iliac compression was destroying my life. After 4 ablations and 3 stents I'm almost 100% better. I'm back to work and am so thankful they got me on my way to healing . I will forever be grateful for Dr. Burkett for saving me. She is amazing.
Dr. Burkett and her team are very pleasant and knowledgeable! I highly recommend MGVSC if you are having any type of leg/foot pain and/or swelling! Dr. Burkett takes time to educate you on your condition before offering treatment! I’m so glad I was referred here!
