I have been a patient of mid-state for atleast 15 yrs....I I have always found them to be a compassionate, caring office. I have to say the receptionist Megan Hewitt is always professional, kind, and extremely knowledgeable in the front office.She is exceptional at finding a spot for you if you need to get in, as well as makes sure you get returned phone calls in a timely manner from the Dr/ nurse. Don't go to Midstate!! They are simply horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! One dr refused to give me testing and I suffered in severe pain throughout my honeymoon! When I finally forced her to give me the proper testing she was shocked to learn I had a very severe case of kidney infection. It left a scar on my kidney and nearly ruined the honeymoon!! If that wasn't bad enough, another Midstate dr told my dad he had a sprain in his hip after just poking it a bit. No tests ordered, no x-rays, no cat scans.....nothing!!!!!!!!!!!! Not happy with this office. More screw ups with prescriptions, first we will mail them to you. Then at the end of the day a message is left on home phone "please call us to tell us if you are coming in to pick up your prescriptions or if you want them mailed." This is at 4:30 in the afternoon. We live an hour away. Not what you want to hear when you were told earlier that they would be mailed and you would be all set. This office has issues with communication between employees.
Was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.. The doctors and nurses were very helpful and informative and still continue to be..
