Mid Peninsula Seafood

4.5

About this business

Besides fresh fish, shrimp, scallops, oysters and crabs in season, you really ought to try the smoked fish spreads made especially for Mid-Peninsula. Salmon, tuna and grouper are smoked for these spreads that are prepared with pickles and pepper or garlic. They cost $2.49 each, so they're as great for gifts as well as instant consumption. Picnic tables and paper plates are the order of the day at this very casual spot that offers beer and wine with meals. But don't drop in on Sundays; they've gone fishing.

Great seafood and live music! Order food at counter in the seafood market and it is brought to your table in the dining room. Food is fresh and hot! Large servings. No fishy smell from the food or seafood market (a sign of fresh seafood). Live beach music created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This will definitely be my go to place for fresh seafood, whether eat-in, take-out, or preparing my own meal!

This was my first time eating here. You order at the counter then take a seat at one of the tables. The condiments were on a counter in the dining room. I ordered the grouper sandwich, fried. It was the best grouper I have ever had. My sister got fried scallops. They were also very good. My mother got the fish and chips. It was huge. She took a lot of it home. She said it was great. Yes I will be going back.
