the doctor and nurse practitioner are both amazing, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. this is my first pregnancy and they have helped me feel assured and prepared for labor. the office staff on the other hand is a mess. it took me half a month recently to get in touch with them to reschedule an appointment and tell them I needed a follow up from the ER. I love Mid Florida Women’s Center! Dr. Patel and Mary Allen have been taking care of the women in my family since 1991, and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else for my gynecological or obstetric care. Dr. Patel is so calm and caring, and helped me to safely deliver my baby vaginally, even with a long, long labor and my baby entangled in her cord. Mary Allen is also amazing. She is always cheerful, loving, and funny, and all of my visits with her are pleasant and informative.

Trying to call, answering service answered stated the doctors office phones will not be working til 2. How do u cancel appointment for tomorrow?
I left 2messages 2wks ago on the ob line which states that my call will be returned the the end of the business dy...still have not received a call back... Yesterday I tried calling at 12:40pm to ask what I could take for this excruciating sinus headache..the answering service informed me that they were at lunch and would return at 1pm..well I waited in Walmart(in pain) until 1 to call back..I called 36times..they never turned thier phones back on from lunch, I stopped calling at 1:45 since all I was getting was the answerin... read more
I love this office. Staff is awesome and Mary Ellen is the best. And of course Dr. Patel is a great doctor. 2nd child he will be delivering by c-section.
