Great place to step back into history! Can't wait for the restored steam engine to return to service soon!
A nice place to visit! Lots of wonderful rolling stock! A great place for kids big and small! The staff are wonderful and friendly. I have travel to many railroad and transportation museums and this one is a gem!
Other than breaking down half way through the journey it was a fun time.
It's a very charming museum. I went once in 2015, and was impressed by all the historic equipment they've got. I plan to go again once they restore CNW 1385 ;)
Excellent staff and extremely tasty food is delivered by Dining Services. If you are curious ask, they are well informed about everything trains!
I'm the train affectionado so my wife and I have taken several trips at MCRM before, however, its been a few years since our last. This was the first time with our boys, ages 4.5 and 2.5, who are, both, also fond of trains. I'm looking forward to the NW steamer 1385's return to service, but the boys enjoyed the trip with the diesel, none-the-less. Thank you to our conductor for visiting with us for a few minutes, it really made their day.
