RecommendedIt's a wonderful place to go for everyone from a train nut/photographer like me, family, couples and is well worth your time. their closed due to covid but worth the wait until next season.

The Elegant Dinner Train is so much fun. The volunteers that run it make it a great time.
The Mid-Continent Railway Museum does some of the best wood car restorations of any museums that I know about.
A real fun experience with the whistle and all aboard, staff, singers, treats, gifts and those beautiful old trains. 👍

My husband and I went on the midcontinent railroad fall train ride recently and had an amazing time. We were at a table and enjoyed drinks and appetizers with another couple who were very pleasant. The fall colors were showing. What made it a truly exceptional experience are the volunteers who take care of you and explain things.
