There's certainly no luxury about these apartments! Owner flat out refused to provide any sort of refund to my sister and I or my elderly parents as we all had sore backs, neck and shoulder pain from sleeping on the horrible and disgusting mattresses. We left after the second day due to the lack of sleep we were getting because of the rock hard mattresses and the street noise. I enjoyed my two night work stay at the one bedroom apartment. It was quiet, I was not bothered by the city sounds at all. It fulfilled my needs of having access to washing machine & dryer, iron & board & stovetop cooking amenities including microwave. Mid City Luxury Apartments was close to my work location which was extremely convenient for me to walk to work & allow for my vehicle to remain at the onsite parking amenities which are locked & secured after hours. Apartment was clean & comfortable.
Stayed in a 1 Bed apartment, with washer and dryer in bathroom. Never saw any staff members but gone early and not back to the room until after 5pm. Basic facilities in rooms, nothing extra provided. Clean and comfortable. Car parking available ground level if vehicle is below 2.1m Straight across the road from Cairns Central and only 4 block walk to City Centre. Can hear sirens / vehicles etc around the streets. Reasonable price for apartment. Not really suited to those requiring wheelchair access.
Absolutely enjoyed our stay. We stayed 2 nights, rooms were clean bed was super comfortable. Was able to wash and dry our clothes in our room. Had a full size kitchen with all cooking utensils, oven and 2 elements for cooking Location was handy to all amenities. Had a nice $12 steak meal at the Grand Hotel a 2 min walk from Mid City. The pool was lovely especially after our walk through the township. Roy is a wonderful very kind helpful and funny guy. Will definitely visit again. Thank-you Mid City
