RecommendedMid City is a very welcoming restaurant with staff that are acutely cognizant of allergy needs. My family has been eating here for years and we will continue to do so because of the quality of the staff and the amazing food. I always recommend Mid City to anyone I meet as a first place to try downtown. As an aside, the b4 warned burger was the best burger hands down I've ever had.
OH MY GOD what do I have to do to convince you all to keep the Vegan Burritos as a permanent menu item? We ordered two last night, one with vegan chicken and one with the seitan and we were IN LOVE. I know it’s just a weekly special, but please consider making it permanent! We live downtown and love vegan food. By far the best vegan food we’ve ever had downtown! 🌯💛

Tons of amazing vegan options. Vegan Ranch, Vegan Cheese, Vegan Burgers and Vegan garbage fries are all delicious.

The service was great and the staff super friendly. I can still recommend Mid City but something has happened to the burger. I think its the bun. I didn’t care much for the bun. Its the kind that’s chewy and bready if that’s a word. The patty had great flavor but its a lot thicker and between the two it throws off the ratio of the whole burger. I hope some know what I mean when you read this. It’s still good but its just not as good as it use to be.
This was my first time here and WOW! As a gluten free vegan, it is very difficult to find a hot meal in a restaurant. And there is an actual selection for me to choose from! So rare. I had the tofu sandwich on a GF bun with vegan cheese fries and a side of vegan ranch. It was so good, I wanted to cry! I cannot wait to come back. They were so friendly and welcoming and have delicious food! ❤️🌱
I’ve never left a bad review in my life.. but I honestly don’t understand all the 5 stars. We were from out of town and very excited to try mid city grill. - Ordered the fried portobello appetizer.. opened the box to 5 puney mostly bread fingers. - one of our burgers was near raw - the buffalo fries were soggy and barely drizzled with buffalo - all the food was cold even though we got there early and waited in the restaurant for the food. - the hummus tasted.. odd.. not fresh.. maybe some spice was overly used but it wasn’t ... read more
