This seems to be what has happened to me as well. They do not check their portal.

Growl - I went in for a followup appointment and had a blood draw. They sent it to the WRONG LAB and as a result I am being billed by the lab for the full price as my insurance company will not pay for the lab they sent it to. Note that they had sent previous blood draws to the correct lab. i have tried to contact them twice but received NO REPLY.
