Tried getting an appointment for what is clearly a retina issue. They told me to “see an eye doctor” just all around unhelpful and seem like they don’t want patients anyway. Thanks for nothing.
They were able to reschedule me earlier than the first date
I experienced cobweb floaters and was told I should see a specialist, Friday of course. I called and explained what I was experiencing. I was given an appointment for Tuesday. I questioned if I shouldn't be seen that day, but was told that is what they had. I called Cumberland Valley Retina and they worked me in that morning. Turns out I had a tear in my retina, zap-zap with the laser right there and it was fixed. I could have had a complete tear if I had waited until Tuesday.
5 stars for Drs. 0 for Jenn who is a receptionist and/or tech. She was very condescending and nasty to my husband and I both when I called to make his referral appt. They have been trying to reach him since March, so I knew they had the referral in the system already. I always spell last name when I call anywhere. I either say "all N's like Nancy" or I say November. She couldn't find him in the system, but didn't ask me to respell like most people would usually do, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and figured it was a ... read more
