My husband has been a patient of Dr. Nordlund 15 years. Last year my husband's sight suddenly went dark in his left eye. We called Dr. Nordlund's office and were immediately told to come in. After several tests, Dr. Nordlund told us to go immediately to the Sentara Emergency Room because he believed my husband was having a stroke. I would recommend this practice to anyone with retina or glaucoma issues. They were professional, kind and efficient, with all the modern equipment.
I called this office with a concern and was immediately scheduled to see the doctor. The office staff was warm and friendly, and professional as well, and kept me informed at each step what to expect. Dr. Norlund listened to me and addressed all my concerns. He was gentle and thorough, and made sure that I was comfortable before ending the appointment. Top notch, without feeling like you are in a system where they are trying to upsell you into further services. Great experience.
