Nikki was a delightful first impression, the hotel is completely redone, clean, located right of 75, Walmart and cheap gas nearby. Close to ATL and just south Atlanta to time the traffic, a perfect stopover from Florida. Highly recommend!
It states completely 100% smoke free but apparently that doesn't included Marijuana. It smacks you in the face as soon as you come in the door. My room also reeks. The location is good, room is clean. But if you have issues with smoke DO NOT STAY here. I can't find anywhere else at 7pm to go or I'd leave. Running the fan continously.
Horrible experience, I ended up getting my room changed three times due to bodily fluids on the linen. One room smelled like heavy smoke, the tissue in the bathroom was already opened and used. The elevator was down also while I went back and forth to the front desk with pictures and videos of the rooms.
Microtel in Stockbridge has clean rooms & the housekeeping staff are the nicest staff members at this lodging location. The owner Mr. Patel & his nephew Winnie lack the professional & emotional intelligence to work int the hospitality industry in the United States of America. If you are looking for genuine American & Southern hospitality, I do not recommend you staying here. I would recommend you go stay at the Country Inn & Suites located at I-75 South exit 216.
