Wanted to like it. Staff needs to address some things: Water fountain broken. Decaf coffee in carafe was cold (not just warm from the day before, but cold, wonder how old it was). Hard doughnuts. No easy place to get hot water for oatmeal unless you want to microwave in a styrofoam bowl). Paper pieces like key jackets and list of changes not just reused but dirty. Tissue holders rusty and fall apart. If it was just one thing, that’s easy to understand but for a newer hotel, this place needs attention.

The room had a cute window seat and I liked the lighting options. The decor and fixtures are basic, but the rooms was clean and the linens were nice enough. The bed was reasonably comfortable. They had peach yogurt in the breakfast area every morning, so I was happy with the complimentary breakfast. The waffle batter was a nice texture, but the decaf coffee was cold every day, but the regular coffee was always hot. No decaf tea options were available. Poor rating mostly due to their pet policy. No mention made when I made my reservations that there was a $20 per dog per night charge and a 2dog limit per night. Thank God I only had 2 with me. I was there for a dog show and this hotel was recommended by the show. Oh, by the way, they also charged me an additional $5 tax on the already $40 they charged me for the dogs. I 'm not crazy about paying for the dogs but, please let me know when I make my reservation.

While this place has definitely seen better days, the staff was friendly and helpful, my room was spotless, all of the appliances worked as expected, and I've not seen a bed made that tightly since I was in the military.
