First off THERE IS NO ELEVATOR! Secondly, our business pulled us out and placed us elsewhere. The moment I walked into my room a strong odor of eucalyptus (I think?) slammed my sinuses. ...and notice the posted sign on the desk: there IS NO coffee maker, soap dish, tray, etc. The building is OLD and outdated, not even in nostalgic fashion. The couple who checked us in were sweet; but I'm pretty certain they were embarrassed to be working there.
Very friendly and quiet place to stay..I would definitely come back..
You definitely get what you pay for! I picked this through Hotels.com and I’m convinced the reviews there are fake! 1. NO ELEVATOR - it’s not clearly stated on the website. I had to scroll down 3 paces to see it. This was important because my mom can barely take stairs. After I checked in this was disclosed and I immediately wanted to cancel but my family was tired and we decided to stay. We had to change rooms immediately!! Wheelchair accessible - bed too high for handicapped person to get into without a small step of some kind - none available Bathroom done backwards - open wheelchair shower with no curtain to keep water from spraying all over the floor - making floor to rest of bathroom very wet and slippery. (Shower should have been at the "back" of the bathroom. Shower handle is not adjustable for "regular" guests who don't need to sit in the chair.
