Ice cold water in the shower tonight. No one at the front desk informed us about the boiler being broken. Forced to move out of hotel at 11:00 p.m. after a long day of flying and working from fort Chipewan I was just looking forward to a nice warm shower and then rest up for the evening. Instead I have to pack up and leave.
Vending machines are part of a hotel. Making a customer walk to the front desk and pay $4 for a bag of chips isnt customer service.
The room for the price is super small total waste of money to staying here.
Plus: New, clean, well-kept interior. Hot breakfast was included. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location (close to the hospital which was the purpose of our trip to Ft Mac). Burger and Caesar salad delivered to our room was good. Minus: We were woken at 4 am by a drunken fight, shouting and swearing in the parking lot below our window which went on for some time.
