To start Ram at the front desk checked me in and was so pleasant. Traveling can be stressful to have someone with a quick genuine smile it makes your day! He accommodated my requests I have to say that I was looking for a nice hotel not too pricey. I checked on line and found the Microtel and it fit the bill because it offered a hot tub! I did go directly to the hotel because time and again I have checked into a hotel and the hot tub was not available! But here they have a really clean and spacious hot tub! I checked in around 3pm, left my luggage, and came back around 9pm. I decided to check out and go to a different hotel shortly after I got back because the room was not clean. The carpets were dirty, the sheets were stained, and there was a TON of black mold under the table that goes over the air conditioning unit. If you care about cleanliness, I would recommend going 2 minutes down the road to a different hotel. This is not worth saving a few bucks. They also won't give refunds. Just go somewhere else.
Great area where you have the mall 3 minute walk distance, places to eat near by and near the airport. Great staff, room very clean. If you're in the area of Appleton, I do recommend. I've enjoyed my stayed!
The location is hard to access off a side road. No helpful signs. The room itself is cozy and clean. Three light bulbs were NOT working. Just one lamp, so couldn't see well once it got dark. Went to front desk a few times, but couldn't find anyone to give me light bulbs. Main reason we stayed there was for the gym. It looked fine and we had access, but next morning when I went to use the gym my key no longer worked and I was told, "It's under construction."
