This was definitely a positive experience for us. My Mother called and made the reservation. It was an easy process. The front desk clerk was professional and courteous. Precious helped us get the perfect room (135)for my mother who is 87 years old. We are only in town for one night, but it is the perfect place to rest up from the long trip. Location is great. They increased their prices on a graduation weekend so for almost $300 for one night I was disappointed with the check in service, continental breakfast & appearance. Check in: I arrived after 9pm to a locked door. I rang the bell with the attendant in plain view cleaning 2 feet from the glass. He glanced over at me and my kid (with our luggage in hand) and went back to cleaning. I waited a few minutes thinking he was wrapping up and finally rang the bell again, to which he ignored. Originally told they had truck parking...they dont. Tired so I got a room. 130.00 for a tiny room. Holiday inn is basically the same price for a bigger room. Checked out at 530 am they couldnt give a receipt due to running audit. I asked the front desk guy to email me a receipt he took down my information to do so but never sent an email. Basically I am not impressed with Microtel.
So my gf paid for our room for the Harley bike weekend in Burlington. These people have over charged her 300+ dollars and she has shown them receipts where they keep doing it and I see they're doing nothing but the runaround. Lawyering up is our next course of action apparently since they don't want to admit they messed up.
Wow Precious is by far best hotel personel I have ever dealt with. And believe me I'm stayed at some of the best hotels. Truly a great experience. Thank you so much!
