I had an old ATTINY25 that was acting up. One of the pins had developed severe ringing. I brought it in and they immediately put it up in a test fixture. Turns out there was an errata on the part. They replaced the push-pull drivers free of charge even though it was out of warranty. Good chips, good people.

Let me say this first, I am the type of person who truly believes all people are equal regardless of anything, AND it depends on your skills and qualifications to get the job. I have seen it many times at ASU career fair. U will not get an interview. Most HR hiring recruiters are indians. They only hire Indians. They tend to either ask impossible questions just to decline people while hiring Indians. I am also a graduate student. I just gave up on them.

Recently, I have been working at Microchip for the past 3 months now, everything was going fine until two weeks ago I got an unexpected call from the HR lady who informed me that they were letting me go because my performance was not the greatest. They never specified why, never gave me a warning, or showed me the error of my ways. For the most part I thought I was doing great here and then it went upside down for no explanation. Came to Microchip (Tempe) for pre-employment testing and interview. Took about 90 minutes after which interviews were scheduled for those that passed the minimum skills tests.
