I had an old ATTINY25 that was acting up. One of the pins had developed severe ringing. I brought it in and they immediately put it up in a test fixture. Turns out there was an errata on the part. They replaced the push-pull drivers free of charge even though it was out of warranty. Good chips, good people.
Let me say this first, I am the type of person who truly believes all people are equal regardless of anything, AND it depends on your skills and qualifications to get the job. I have seen it many times at ASU career fair. U will not get an interview. Most HR hiring recruiters are indians. They only hire Indians. They tend to either ask impossible questions just to decline people while hiring Indians. I am also a graduate student. I just gave up on them.
Recently, I have been working at Microchip for the past 3 months now, everything was going fine until two weeks ago I got an unexpected call from the HR lady who informed me that they were letting me go because my performance was not the greatest. Came to Microchip (Tempe) for pre-employment testing and interview. Took about 90 minutes after which interviews were scheduled for those that passed the minimum skills tests.
