From out of town and your car has issues can mean easy $$ in the eyes of most auto repair shops. Chris did not take advantage of our situation. We pulled in unannounced just after 9am today, Chris confirmed the PS problem and had it fixed before we finished breakfast at the Headless Horseman across the street. Love Mickey's. Love their service. Love their mechanics. It's a great family business...and they treat their employees like family, too, and I say this because everyone is courteous and service-oriented. John the front desk guy is great to talk to because he explains things thoroughly and simply. We take all of our vehicles to them now.
"Recently took my 2001 Buick Century to Mickey's Automotive for brake replacement and an oil change. I dropped it by without making an appointment because the ""grinding"" happened over the weekend. Graciously, Mick and Christopher fit me in for that day and found the problem with the front brakes - it wasn't just pads - and promptly repaired them. They performed my oil change as well.
