Small, Installers paid per Job This stereo shop blows. Installers are fresh off the street with very little knowledge. They are paid per job done, and rotate jobs like new car dealerships rotate customers on their salesmen. So its a craps shoot if you get the good alarm installer installing your door speakers, or a box builder hacking your alarm together. The shops are small, and there's a long install wait, as they only have 1 bay. PROS: Brand Names CONS: Small stores, cramped install bays
Experts in Car Audio Installation & More! All I had to do is pick out the stereo system and speakers for my car. They did the rest for a small fee. Mickey Shorr has been in business a very long time. His customer's keep coming back, over and over.
DON'T GO THERE or YOU'LL REGRET They are only after your money and will anything to trap you, I mean anything. Even they lies about other installers to have you done the job done by them. Don't trust them what they say, have everything in writing. I threaten them with BBB and that how I got my money back. Please go some other reputable place, like Best Buy or I heard Car Tunes are good also. Mickey Shorr shop looks like a shop in some 3rd World country and the customer service also like 3rd world. DON'T GO THERE.
Woudnt do it! Hey I wouldn't get anything installed at a mickey shorr simply because the majority of the installers are hacks but the prices aren't bad.Don't really haveanythingelse
KNowledgable staff & good prices I have gotten alarms and remote starts for two of my last three cars. Each time has been a great experience with short waits. It has a great location, next to Nello's, a true Royal Oak tradition!
Poor Customer Service These guys told me I need a dashboard kit so I can install a new stereo in my car. I paid for the kit, and after 3 months and numerous calls, it still has not come in. So I ask for my money back, and they refuse to credit me because I don't have a receipt! They sell me something they can't deliver, and don't return my money? And read the fine print on their warranty extensions: It is a real rip off. Avoid these guys, go across town to Best Buy or Car Tunes.
The Best! I have a 2007 cobalt and they've installed my viper alarm, remote start, door locks, and trunk release wonderfully. I also had my windows tinted there with the new Viper film and I love it. The windshield strip really does help driving in the sun. And for the guy that had the focus and wanted a remote starter and was priced for $79 dollars and then told the $99 dollar one was better, whats the big deal with that? Great Work I bought a audio system for my car and couldn't be more pleased with the way it sounds. Scott custom built the box for my subs and it sounds awwweeessome. I went back over Christmas and upgraded a starter I had put on somewhere else and it works great! Scott does great work and I won't let anyone else touch my car's.
Susan Do not give this place your business. We got a car starter for my sons car for xmas. Took it in after Christmas to get installed and it took 24 hours and an over night stay to get it in. They we get the car and the speedometer doesn't work. I took the car back and they said there is no problem with the connection but it is obvious that they messed it up when they installed the starter. Now it's gonna cost about $500 to fix the speedometer and Mickey Shorr won't pay for the cost. Should have gone to Car Tunes. Never aga... read more
