This is not easy for me to write as this took place over a year ago with no progress and a “doctor” that Seems like he has a common line he likes to use. He told my wife that he stitched her up extra tight to make me happy. When my wife complained that we were unable to have intercourse, she was given a plastic cylinder to use 30 minutes a day to stretch her out, when this was ineffective, my wife made an appointment with him, only for his office to cancel within days of the visit. Dr. Karram told me "I stitched you up extra tight to make your husband happy". (disgusting pig). On my post surgery visit with my children present, he walked in and without greeting me AT ALL, he began inserting his fingers roughly...literally with zero greeting or explanation. He is a disgrace.
Have yet to see the Dr. but after dealing with his nurse Sherry - I am Extremely Unimpressed with the lack of professionalism already. She should Not be dealing with people much less those who don’t feel well.
I made a poor choice when I went to this internationally famous physician for a repair of vaginal vault prolapse. I was not incontinent but he performed a procedure for incontinence anyway. He did not list it on my consent form and never told me he did it. He made my urethra too narrow. Another physician did a procedure to stretch my urethra back to original size and restored my prior ability to urinate after 8 months. Review of my surgical record revealed the extra procedure. Run away from him.
Dr. Karram is the best in my opinion! Not only is he very professional, but he also is very caring and sincere. I had a hysterectomy and a bladder sling in 1998. The hysterectomy went well with my gynecologist. The urologist I had at the time did the sling when he really didn't need to do it after my uterus was removed, but he did it anyway. To make a long story short, I was referred to Dr. Karram and he basically removed the sling which had a recall and he saved my life! Thanks Dr. Karram
He is extremely expert in procedures involving the female pelvic organs. I had a hysterectomy followed by a bladder sling. Both times I experienced minimal pain and no post surgery complications. Wd highly recommend him.
