I am speechless when I see how far MYCA has come. I was in class 7 and graduated in December of 2002. I wouldn't be where I am without this. After graduating I enlisted in the Navy 9 months later and it has been 11 years strong. I'm married with 3 children and happy as ever. Thank you again MYCA
Good place
This school changed my life back in 2003! I went on to graduate High School a year early and entered military service at the age of 17 in 2004! I joined the Army in October of 2004 and served for 4 years as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant in 2008 after serving in Louisiana during hurricane Katrina relief efforts as well as 15 months in Afghanistan as an intelligence analyst. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for this program. Thank you M.Y.C.A!
The Michigan Youth Challenge Academy gave me the opportunity to see how great my potential can be and taught me how I can obtain and maintain a positive, motivated life. MYCA gave me the chance to change myself and I achieved that challenge at a complete 180 degree turn in my lifestyle choices. I am forever dedicating my life back to the MYCA for giving me immense hope and teaching me to become a great leader of virtue. My heart will serve those in need as the MYCA did so for me.
