Michigan & Trumbull is exactly what I wanted from eating Detroit-style pizza in Detroit. There are plenty of places all over the country making rectangular pizza and calling it Detroit-style now. This felt different. The crust is the star — light and airy inside, crisp underneath, with that glorious caramelized cheese edge around the outside that makes you immediately start figuring out who at the table is getting the corner pieces.
