Our son attends Tech and the education is top notch. The RA'S are always there to help them along in settling in the first year. They learn as they grow. It is a wonderful choice for education. And you can't beat the views it't beautiful there.
Graduated 3 years ago with B.S. Mechanical Engineering. This degree does not prepare you for the work force and was over priced compared to other Michigan Universities.
Looked into going here my Freshman year, so so glad I chose U of M instead. They are similar in tuition prices but Tech does not seem to reinvest any of that back into the programs (or at least the chemical engineering department) from what I saw when I toured. The lab where pitiful compared to what U of M has. Clearly I made the right choice not going to Tech and I am now graduated and loving my career.
Great education and opportunities! I wish I had been better prepared and taken full advantage of everything possible. Going back is just like going home, and I am finding new things in the area, the community. Tech has continued to evolve, despite the naysayers, and I see amazing things on every visit.
