Stay clear of Michigan Rental to avoid incorrect late fees. A couple of months ago, Michigan Rental did not record the payments for one month of rent, and posted late fees as a result. We had to provide bank statements since the payment portal didn’t reflect the payments. It got resolved-ish after many missed calls (they don’t pick up) and long email chains. We still have a random balance as a result of fees and will have to start another long email chain that will take weeks to get fixed again.
